This place is a great place to eat,, the food has a really good taste. May I say I eat a lot but I couldn’t finish the plate. Even the water is filtered to taste good. My experience here was a very good one including the customer service. If you are in Taylor Texas this is where you will get your satisfied fill-up. My name is Zebedee Johnson and I’m a food critic, I wouldn’t change a thing!!

Have eaten here before and the jumbo fried shrimp are good. Today however grilled shrimp and scallops were ordered and they were horrible!. The dirty rice was so bad it's an insult to good dirty rice to call what they served dirty rice. The waitress accent was so strong you couldn't understand what she was saying and she didn't know the menu you had to point to f the menu and say this and that is what you wanted even for the drinks !. Took forever to get the check had to ask three times for it. Then gave the money and check to the lady by the cashier and she has to leave as nd go in the back if the establishment to get the change. Sometimes I wish another seafood restaurant would open un Taylor just to make these people get their act together.

Its decent. As far as seafood in central texas for a reasonable price, it's great. As a former New Englander, it's barely in the OK region.

Not lavish but tasty food at a decent price with good service. Menu features a nice variety of items and includes some things that aren't typical of restaurants in this area.

Extensive menu with a lot of options. The seafood is by far the best in town. My favorite is the grilled flounder dinner. You can't go wrong with any of the fish dinners. Highly recommended, but make sure you receive any extra condiments you request.

First time eating here in years. And I actually got their fish, the salmon is pretty good. Even though we live no where near the coast the seafood was bomb and the servers are super nice always wanting to help. I'll go back for sure there is too many options.

Hidden gem. It's simple, not fancy at all. These 5 stars are for the food only. The manager regularly walked around checking on people. Seems maybe she had some young and inexperienced staff, but she managed them well. The food was perfect and actually caught me off guard. Medium rare stake with grilled shrimp, green beans and mashed potatoes...every bit was scrumptious and perfect. A patron at the next table loved his fish and commented on the look of my dish. I recommend this place to others often.

Great food and friendly service, the portions are HUGE. It's a good place to pick a few items and share with one another.

Atmosphere is low budget and could use a renovation, but it’s not the worst place. The food is usually good and my friends and I go there a few times each month. This evening we ordered the chicken soup. The meat in the soup was tough and similar to frozen chicken fajita meat. When we asked for a meat substitute, they refused. We left the bowl of chicken on the table. The manager wouldn’t even take the time to come talk to us. The customer service needs some work. If you decide to go, I pray that you have a better experience.

Great food lunch prices are the best but dinner specials are great too 👍 Will definitely return. Service is excellent 👌

What I ate there was good better than other seafood places around me

Awful it was 87 degrees inside where we sat, the waiters are just kids. Not very happy could not enjoy.

Can I give this zero stars? An hour after we placed our order, we still did not have our food. When we asked the waitress about it, she simply said they were busy. The family who sat next to us waited for at least 20 minutes without anyone coming to their table and chose to leave. I will never eat at Texas Bay again.

Menu as long as your arm and very good food. 12 deep fried large shrimp, french fries, salad for $10 (lunch special) plus tea made it come to $13 and change. Friendly and I thought the prices were good. I do recommend eating here.

I had the 14oz ribeye with grilled shrimp on a bed of steamed vegetables and a side of loaded baked potato. The baked potato was good, the steamed vegetables were well seasoned and cooked prefectly. The steak was cooked medium as I had requested but it was a bit dry and tasted like a frozen steak even though it was properly seasoned.

Grilled Shrimp is Amazing! 20+Tax for 12 grilled shrimp, baked potatoe and steamed vegetables + salad. The fried seafood platter also pricey, scallops were over cooked, all else was good eating! Server was extremely sweet. Table was sticky in some parts, benches had crumbles. This day had 1 side where TV was on, other side just the view, which wouldn't be so bad if they'd clean the windows. Overall it's ok.

Did not feel safe. Menus were not being cleaned, people going in were not wearing masks. Will not eat there again.

I've gone here for years, and this was the WORST time ever! I ALWAYS get steak well done and yet it's always juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection. Today it was dry, tough and horrible I couldn't even eat it. I told waitress she apologized and walked off. After complaining again she came back and told me the manager said, "that's how steak is because you ordered it well done" BS!!!!! Manager never came to address me or my issue! Poor management at best!!!!!! I will not be back for a VERY A LONG TIME!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!

Sea food is well prepared. Pad Thai is excellent. Staff courteous and professional. Beer and wine available. Family friendly environment.

Service, price & portions was great. Crabcakes weren't what I expected. More filling than crabmeat. Definitely fry seafood in the same fish grease.

Price is not to bad and i have big fun in here without being run off , wait staff is excellent and allowed us to enjoy ourself

Old style, real fried seafood.

Ordered (2) 14 oz Ribeyes and both were so under cooked that we could not eat it. Steak was purple and brown inside. TERRIBLE! Addressed the situation to our waiter and nothing was done to correct the situation.

Tried a new place, the food was good. I had the salmon salad, portion and taste were just right and had left over salmon. My husband has the catfish and shrimp plate. He said it was very tasty. We will come again.

Food was plentiful and tasted great! Wait staff was courteous and attentive.

Well, we finally made it to the restaurant in order to taste what our family told us was the best seafood in Texas. I ordered a dinner salad, frog legs, and fried shrimp. The salad was an average lettuce and sliced tomato, the frog legs were probably the largest legs I have ever eaten, they were delicious. The dozen fried shrimp were large and delicious also. My only complaint was the tartar and cocktail sauces which were disgusting.

By far, the worst good I have ever had. The crab cakes are so disgusting I gagged and wanted to throw up when I took one bite. The stuffed crab are equally disgusting. There is no crab at all. Just full of stuffing, God knows what's in that stuffing. The alligator tail appetizers we had is 90% breading. We feed back that the food is inedible. We barely touched them. They didn't do a single thing about it. Still charged us and send us on our way. I hope this restaurant goes out of business soon. They didn't care what kind of food they are serving or if their customers are happy. They just want your money.Would never come back even if they paid me to. I wouldn't give any stars at all if I can. It is that horrible.

We had a large crowd but they seemed to handle it ok. Food was great large serving portions.. Grilled veggies were terrific.

Food was terrible I mean terrible I would rather eat a tube of lard the place is overpriced and run down the only thing decent was the waiter I had and she was very polite when she guided me to the restroom to through up. 1 star worst place I have ever eat at.

We went for our first time tonight. Husband had the Seafood platter and I had some combo that had stuffed crab, oysters, and shrimp. Good news you get a lot of food, sad news it was all pretty disgusting. It was mushy and the oysters were not cleaned, still some sand on them. Our waiter was nice! We won’t be back highly disappointed.
